DR. ANIBAL CARDENAS
DDS, MDSC, DABP
Since the beginning of Dr. Cardenas’ aspiration to open his very own practice, he was certain that it would be entirely patient-centered, where the team’s main focus is patient support and trust. He is devoted to providing all of his patients with the absolute best care we can offer through education, transparency, and empathy. From technology to technique, he has spent his time prior to opening Osseo Dental in 2024 researching the newest innovations in specialized dentistry in periodontics and dental implant surgery, to ensure we could eventually offer them to our patients with confidence. He continues to expand his knowledge, as well as coach others. Dr. Cardenas is board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery. He completed a total of 6 years of post-graduate training at University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. This included a 2-year residency and 1-year clinical fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). He then continued his surgical training with a 3-year residency in
Periodontics and Master of Dental Science degree. He is a proud member of numerous
prestigious organizations such as the American Dental Association, CT State Dental
Association, Hartford Dental Society, and American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a Diplomate at the American Board of Periodontology and has been a devoted member of the CT Society of Periodontists in which he had served as President of the board of directors. In his free time, Dr. Cardenas enjoys listening to music, reading, going on hikes, and being in the company of family and friends.

Yes, we provide emergency dental care during normal office hours to address urgent dental issues. To ensure timely care, we recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins may be accommodated based on availability.

We are an out-of-network provider and we are happy to help by reviewing your insurance coverage with you. We will submit any documentation on your behalf, required by your insurance for the reimbursement of your treatment. Dental Insurance coverage varies upon the type of contract that you have with your carrier. We never base our treatment plans solely on coverage. It is important to us that our patients understand their oral condition and needs in order to restore health and take pride in our value of providing accurate and affordable dental care.
